Job summary

We are looking to appoint a experienced Clinical Coder to join our friendly team.

The ideal candidate would be a team player who would thrive on being part of a growing and busy practice with the enthusiasm to play a key part in our plans for the future. Keys qualities include attention to detail, methodical, used to meeting deadlines, well motivated, good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, reliable and have experience of providing effective administrative support at a high level.

The position is part-time you choose to work at which surgery is closer to your home address.

Main duties of the job

The following are the core responsibility Clinical Coder.

Accurately clinically coding data on SystmOne into the patient record

Identifying relevant clinical information documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed action

Inputting and extracting data as required to support practice reports

Filing and storing records as required

Actioning all incoming correspondence, emails and mail in a timely manner

Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients healthcare records

Inputting data into patients healthcare records as necessary

Maintaining a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times

Supporting all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested

About us

Liquorpond Surgery is a busy practice within the town of Boston, with a patient population of nearly 12,000.

Marsico Medical Practice is based in Mablethorpe on the East Coast there are GP's, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and a clinical support team comprising of Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants based at both sites.

Our aim is to maintain and improve the health of our patients, by providing high quality equitable health care, which is flexible, responsive, friendly and efficient.

  • Experience of working within GP surgery
