Job summary
We are looking for Patient Service Coordinators to join our friendly reception team.
Experience of working in a healthcare setting would be preferred but full training will be given.
We are looking for the following skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
A clear and polite telephone manner
Respectful of patient confidentiality
Ability to work well as part of a team
Main duties of the job
In this essential front-line role at the practice, our Patient Service Coordinators help patients to access the most appropriate services, book appointments and liaise with patients, Doctors and practice colleagues.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Assisting and directing patients
Making appointments via telephone and face to face
Dealing with queries and requests for information from patients and clinicians
Advising patients of practice procedures

We are a friendly team of clinical and administrative staff, operating from sites in Hook and Hartley Wintney, providing care to over 18,000 patients.
