Reception team lead

Job summary

The practice wants to employ a total of two Reception Team Leads who will work very closely with the Patient Services Manager and the reception team, ensuring that all of the reception areas are run efficiently and effectively to provide a quality service to the patients and the PMP team. This job will be working Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays, but must be flexible to work other days to cover holidays/ sickness and attend training days or meetings.

Main duties of the job

To ensure Reception administration and appointment duties are delivered successfully

To co-ordinate and participate in Reception duties ensuring Reception staff are supported, all patients and visitors are treated in a professional and pleasant manner.

To monitor call queue levels and participate effectively during peak times

To commit to providing excellent customer service for all patients and the practice team.

Act as a first port of call for all staff including clinicians and deal with any urgent queries thoroughly and efficiently.

Deal with more complex enquiries from patients and verbal complaints.

About us

The practice is a large busy 4 sited training practice. The ideal candidate will be expected to be able to travel to all sites, sometimes at short notice if there is a problem to solve.
