Park Medical Practice6-8 Sessions
We are looking to recruit a motivated, caring, enthusiastic Partner
to join our large forward-thinking team.
We have sites Chaddesden, Borrowash, Oakwood and at
the university of Derby.
We can be some flexible with working days/starts and finishes. We use an in-house practice rota which allows you to have more control of your day. We pride ourselves in
training, education, support/wellbeing, and personal development.
We are looking for the right individual who shares our
practice vision to think" outside the box" and maximise the
opportunities to provide quality patient care to our patients as part of our
valued team.

We have regular weekly team meetings which are planned up to
a year in advance. Education and development is very high on our agenda. We are
aware of our strengths and our weaknesses, and the challenges that primary care

the same time trying to retain a good work life/balance. We want you to be

Main duties of the job
We are currently a 9 Partner Training Practice made up of experienced practice Partners supported by a very experienced management team.
We are looking for an GP who is an all round GP. However we encourage professional development and we would love to utilize any specific areas of interest that you may have.
We are in a PCN with just one other practice, so we can react quickly and really make a difference to our local population.
On call commitment for a 6 session Partner will be approximately 16 per year.

There are opportunities to socialize and really get to know the team out of work at various social events from gardening club, family rambles, park run, quiz nights, curry nights if you chose to join in.
About us
The team is made up of nearly 100 practice and attached staff covering around 29,000 patients covering a wide range of patients It is a very busy practice. We are currently on 12 minute appointments but working to extend this to 15 minutes in the future. Clinical Team consists of Partners, GP registrars, GP retained staff, ACP's, salaried GPs, specialist Nurses, practice nurses, HCA's and phlebotomists. We work in partnership with our PCN colleagues which includes pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, physios, social prescribers, care co-ordinators, mental health worker and PCN Manager
We have a very active long standing PPG who get very involved with the practice.
Over the past few months we have offered outreach clinics for hard to reach patients in the community, we have also had an outreach drop in session for people with mental illness, offered vaccinations away from the practice, had a measles catch up clinic at the uni for international students, plus we have been involved with education and took part in a project with women who have had breast cancer. We hold an annual PCN / PPG health education and well being event in the community which was very successful.

Lead the Practice team by being an effective

Contribute to the management of the Practice.
Help to develop of the Practice business and
take the practices forward .
Ensuring that you are up to date with NHS
developments/opportunities both locally and nationally
Duties and
Responsibilities
1.Undertake all the duties associated with the role of a
General Practitioner required by the GMS contract
2.Comply with all the objectives of the GMS Contract
3.Support and contribute to the development of Practice
clinical procedures and protocols in line with local and national guidance
4.Ensure that that all patient data is inputted on to system
one in a timely and accurate manner, using read codes, templates and QOF
indicators
5.Undertake clinical audits
6.Private work - completion of non NHS reports for
solicitors, insurance companies and individuals. The income is put into the
practice accounts.
7.Liaise with other members of the primary health care team
and other organisations when required
8.Ensure that all GDPR , confidentiality, IG and Data
protection laws are adhered to.
9.Contribute to Practice meetings and represent the practice
at outside meetings
10.Take on Lead responsibilities in any agreed area of
Practice management
11.Support the development and compliance of the Practice
Health and Safety
12.Take on Lead responsibilities in any agreed area of
clinical management
13Take an active role in maintaining and developing practice
finances
14Take an equal share of on call duties
15Attend Practice training sessions/Monday meetings
16Ensure that your own CPD is up to date and current
