Job summary

As a care navigator you are the pivotal role between the clinical team and the patient. You are responsible for delivering a positive experience for the patient, and an important part of our team here at the Goodinge

Main duties of the job

This is a vital role in our busy practice based in Islington. Our Care Coordinators are the first point of contact for our patients and so are a critical role for our practice.

We are looking for a person who is experienced in working in a GP practice on EMIS system and is a team player who will help be part of our fantastic team.

Main responsibilities of the role will include the provision of effective and confidential reception and admin duties including answering telephone calls, use of clinical EMIS IT system meeting/greeting of all patients and visitors in a polite, calm and approachable manner. Other duties will include the management of the patient documents, data input and at times some administrative/clerical support to the clinical and management team.

Applicant should have good Communication, IT skills and preferably knowledge of basic medical terminology.
