Job summary
We are looking for a enthusiastic highly motivated salaried GP to join our team in our busy surgery and to provide continuous highly effective medical care to our patient population. We currently have 3 Partners, 3 salaried GP's, regular locum, 2 ANP's and 2 Practice Nurse's. We are a friendly surgery and very supportive of each other. We are a training surgery so we have registrars throughout the year.
Main duties of the job
To provide services commensurate with the GMS contract. Prescribing and adhering to national guidance. Effective management of long term conditions. Processing of admin in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated admin tasks. Maintain accurate records in conjunction with good practice policy and guidance. Work collaboratively in accepting equal share of the practice workload. Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process. Contribute to the continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice. Attend and contribute to practice meetings when required. Ensure compliance with the appraisal process. On a rotational basis duty Dr roles. Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, always promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
About us
We are friendly team who always work together and support each other. As well as the clinical team, we have 3 reception supervisor's, 3 secretaries, Admin manager, 3 Workflow, 9 receptionist's, assisstant practice manager and practice manager.
