We are looking for Salaried GPs to join our fantastic GP

your employment. The posts are ideally for a minimum of 4 sessions a week but
we are keen to accommodate what may work for you.
We are looking for someone who is:

You will have the appropriate UK qualification to
practice in the UK and be
registered with the GMC and Performers List.

Main duties of the job
We like to give all our GPs a variety of work to make
their working week more enjoyable. including:
· triage of online forms
· on call (maximum one session per week)
· face to face sessions (up to 14 contacts per session)
· telephone sessions (up to 16 contacts per session)
+/- some
specialist clinics and clinical lead opportunities.
We support our GPs with our broad team including Nurses, HCAs and Phlebotomists,
Pharmacists and technicians, Care Coordinator, Social Prescriber, Mental Health
Workers, First contact physiotherapists and in-house data team.
This multidisciplinary team reduces your workload in a
number of ways:
- Far fewer home visits
- Fewer minor illnesses
- Support with complex mental health patients
- Negligible repeat prescription workload
- Significantly
reduced clinical admin work
Supporting the whole practice team is very important to
us and we want you to excel and to work with us in providing excellent patient
care. We encourage personal development and
there are opportunities
to pursue special interests, ie. minor operations, baby
clinics, contraception, or becoming a Trainer.
We encourage camaraderie within the Tollgate family and
have regular meetings, including weekly Clinical meetings and optional GP daily
huddles, for coffee, chat and cake!
About us
We are a dynamic, forward thinking, friendly, training
practice looking for a salaried GP to join our wonderful team of 16 GPs.
The 4 partners, and wider team have an excellent
supportive reputation, with very high retention rates across all of Tollgate,
including 11 of our doctors who trained within the practice. We recognise that
looking after each other is key to delivering high quality clinical care, plus
improves our personal and working lives.We are a strong practice, and are proud
of the work we do within our PCN and are embarking on a local garden project to
improve the health of our patients. We are also part of the Keeping Well
initiative, funding treatments and days out to increase the wellbeing for all
of our staff and recognise the efforts we all put in.
Tollgate Medical Centre is proud to have be recognised by

pioneering methodologies for taking the pressure off doctors whilst continuing
