Practice Business Manager OVP

An exciting opportunity has opened to join a well-established, forward thinking friendly, dynamic practice based in Handcross, West Sussex. 4 Partners, 5 salaried GPs, and just under 10k patients this is a unique opportunity to work for a high performing dispensing practice that places an emphasis on patient care and training.

As Practice Business Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management of the practice, ensuring the skill mix of our team promotes efficient processes for effective patient care, clinical and administrative processes.

Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

In addition, we are looking for someone who will continue to drive the practice forward by identifying and acting on practice and business opportunities and partnerships to ensure financial growth.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work collaboratively with the partners and understand and respond to the diverse and dynamic nature of the role, being able to balance the needs of the practice with the ever-changing challenges of providing healthcare.

Previous health care management experience is preferable but not essential for this role

however, individuals will have to demonstrate transferable knowledge and skills.

We are a high QOF achieving practice and CQC rating Good.

About us

Ouse Valley Practice is a rural practice with plenty of parking. We are a dispensing practice, with a list size of 9500 patients, our clinical system is SystmOne. We have 4 partners with 5 salaried GPs, who are supported by the nurse team of 3 practice nurses and a HCA and Phlebotomist. Reception/Dispensary/Admin team. We have a Prescribing Pharmacist and a full-time Pharmacy Tech. We are part of the Haywards Heath Villages PCN and are well supported by ARRS staff.
