Job summary
An opportunity has become available for an experienced GP, who is interested in delivering a Minor Surgery and Joint Injection Service to our practice population. The ideal candidate should be motivated to share in the delivery of high quality primary care services and to use their clinical skills within a supportive and friendly environment.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, a good
team player, committed to clinical excellence and proactive. You must be eligible to work in the UK and be
willing to undergo a DBS check. In
return, the practice will offer an excellent remuneration package including
indemnity cover and NHS Pension Scheme.
This is a Part Time position 4/6 sessions per week performing Minor Surgery, Cryotherapy and Joint Injections, therefore, the applicant must have carried out an accredited minor surgery course either run by the RCGP or another accredited provider.

& Crompton Family Practice is a training practice and has a tier two
licence with an excess of 21,500 patients based in modern premises with
excellent links to Manchester and the motorway networks.
With 4 GP
Partners and an experienced Multi-disciplinary team, including Salaried GPs,
ANPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, Physician Associate, HCAs, Pharmacy Technician and an experienced Admin Team
using the EMIS web clinical system. The
practice is a high achiever and has recently been rated Good by the CQC.

- Experienced GPs with a specialist interest in minor surgery, Accredited GPwERs or GPwSI in Dermatology who also perform Minor Surgery
- Evidence of specialty training in a relevant field, such as, Dermatology, General Surgery or Plastic Surgery.
- Proven experience in performing minor surgical procedures independently.
- Proficiency in local anesthesia techniques and wound closure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
