An exciting opportunity for a Salaried GPs to join our dynamic friendly practice team, motivated to share in the delivery of high quality primary care services. This would be an ideal opportunity for either a newly qualified, TIER TWO or experienced GP to use their clinical skills within a supportive and friendly environment.

team player, committed to clinical excellence and proactive. You must be eligible to work in the UK and be
willing to undergo a DBS check. In

Royton & Crompton Family Practice is a training practice and has aTIER
TWO LICENCEwith an excess of 21,500 patients based in
modern premises with excellent links to Manchester and the motorway networks.

4 GP Partners and an experienced Multi-disciplinary team, including Salaried
GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, HCAs and an experienced Admin
Team using the EMIS web clinical system. The practice is a high achiever and
has recently been rated Good by the CQC.

Role Summary
The post-holder will provide general medical services managing a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all
Clinical Responsibilities:
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations and emergencies, telephone consultations and queries, triaging, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, patient test results, patient medical reports and examinations (e.g. Insurance Companies) on behalf of the Practice, referral letters NHS/private, paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner;
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation;
Recording clear and contemporaneous I.T. based consultation notes to agreed standards;
Collecting data for audit purposes;
Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions
Prescribing in accordance with locally agreed or national guidelines.
In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
