We are currently looking for 2 part-time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team.
This role
will be perfect for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person who has a passion
for delivering excellent patient care. The successful candidate should be
confident, professional with excellent telephone skills and the ability to
multi-task.

Main duties of the job
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for the daily operations of the front desk and will be responsible for answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, and performing other administrative duties.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and schedule appointments in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain and monitor the practice appointment system.
- Process personal, telephone and e-requests for appointments.
- Answer phones in a professional manner to ensure efficient medical care is delivered to patients.
- Signpost patients to the correct service, initiating contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members and external agencies.
- Data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information as required.
- Input data into the patients healthcare records as necessary.
- Direct requests for information i.e. SAR, insurance / solicitors letters and DVLA forms to the administrative team.
- Manage all queries as necessary in an efficient manner.
- Monitor and maintain the reception area and notice boards.
- Support all clinical staff with general tasks as requested.
- Maintain an orderly work area and cleanliness of the front desk area.
- Perform other office duties such as photocopying, filing, typing, scanning, etc.
- Ensure all office equipment is maintained and functioning properly at all times.
- Perform other office duties as assigned by management or supervisor.
