Park Medical Practice is a two Practice partnership in Somerset. We're looking for an NMC registered Adult or General Nurse for our30-hour practice nurse vacancy
We offer: fixed shift patterns Monday-
Friday with occasional Saturday mornings during flu-season.
No very late evenings or night
shifts.
Varied appointment times based on
need.

Main duties of the job
To provide a range of high quality general nursing services and specialist nursing advice and care to patients.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Chronic disease management
- Wound management including dressings
- Child and adult immunisations
- Screening
- Health promotion
- Ear care
- Child health/child protection
- Performing ECGs
- Venepuncture and requesting pathology testing
- Infection control
- Chaperoning and assisting patients and tidiness of nurses rooms
- Attend and participate in clinical and practice meetings when required
- Proactive in identifying own needs for personal and professional development
- Ensure all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard and in accordance with any current
- Provide patient care in accordance with current PGDs and clinical protocols
- Any other duties as required
