CHACEWATER & DEVORAN SURGERIESREQUIRES A PRACTICE NURSE TO JOIN OUR TEAM

MINIUM 18 HOURS PER WEEK PLUS SICKNESS/HOLIDAY COVER WHEN REQUIRED

The ideal candidate will have excellent basic nursing skills including venepuncture,Chronic disease management with an interest in wound care including compression bandaging, diabetes and respiratory care.Desirable skills would include cervical cytology, childhood immunisations and travel vaccinations but training can be arranged.

Job responsibilities

Our nursing team comprises of 4 Practice Nurses and 4 Healthcare Assistants who work closely to cover a wide range of patient care to our practice population.

This role is initially for 18hrs per week but is likely to increase in the future.

The ideal candidate will have excellent basic nursing skills including venepuncture, Chronic disease management with an interest in wound care including compression bandaging, diabetes and respiratory care.

Desirable skills would include cervical cytology, childhood immunisations and travel vaccinations but training can be arranged.

Our Practice Nurses are responsible for leading on our Diabetic care working closely with our GPs, Diabetic Specialist Nurse and Primary Care Network Dietitian to provide a high-quality level of care
