Medical Group are looking to add to their successful GP Practice
team.
Dr Anji
Curry and Dr Jim Gordon both have extensive local knowledge and skills with
local ties to the South Tyneside area and have offered continuity of care to
their patients for the last 15 years. Both provide expert clinical advice to
their ICB and PCN as well as the Practice being a consistently high level
achieving Practice as validated by the South Tyneside ICB Quality Dashboard. We
have a great supportive clinical and administrative team that enables this
consistency in performance.
We want to
recruit an additional Nurse Practitioner to meet our growing Practice list. You
will need to provide excellent clinical care in a busy clinical
environment, thrive on change within the evolving GP Practice model of care and
contribute to the innovation in our service delivery. If you think you could be

You will be joining an innovative,
experienced, growing team of two part-time GP's, one full-time Nurse
Practitioner, one full-time Practice Nurse, a part-time Health Care Assistant
and full compliment of management and admin staff, including two GPAs.
We are an EMIS Web Practice with a list size
of 4,200 patents.
Main duties of the job
Your typical working day would consist of 15 minute face to face appointments, some telephone appointments, reviewing eConsultations and deal with appropriately, report on any tests you have requested, onward refer appropriately, for example patients requiring 2 week wait referrals etc, respond to any 'tasks' sent by team members, assist with emergency situations, participate in achieving QOF targets, participate in Extended Access when required, participate in practice audits,

About us
Imeary Medical Group is based in purpose-built
Stanhope Parade Health Centre, South Shields, with plenty of on-site parking
and less than a minutes' walk from Chichester Metro station and busy bus
routes.
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic,
passionate, motivated, and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner with a confident
'can do' attitude to join our friendly, growing, patient-focused, supportive practice team.
Previous experience in minor illness and
triage in a primary care is essential. You must be able to demonstrate safe
clinical decision making for patients of all ages acting within professional
boundaries.
Applicants must have completed their
non-medical prescribing and be confident working autonomously in primary care,
as well as under the guidance of our GPs.
The post holder will be an experienced NP who,
acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the
presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis,
treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical
decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills,
for patients within the practice.
They will demonstrate critical thinking in the
clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the
general practice team to meet the needs of patients, adhering to policy and
procedures.
