This is a new opportunity within the surgery to assist the Practice Manager with the running of 2 Surgeries providing healthcare to circa 11,500 patients.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities: The following list outlines the primary responsibilities of the PA to the practice manager. Occasionally, there may be a need to perform additional tasks, which will depend on factors such as workload and staffing levels:
Assisting the practice manager as needed in projects, systems, and procedures ensuring compliance with CQC Maintaining and updating our practice portal TEAMNET/Bright HR.
Executing tasks as directed by the Practice Manager related to change management and continuous improvement.
Assisting the Practice Manager in monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations, offering guidance and leadership to staff and completing risk assessments.
Provide administrative support for compliance registers, and ensuring DBS checks are conducted Compiling and sustaining precise and comprehensive HR records that include training records.
Assisting the Practice Manager in responding to and managing complaints.
Coordinating both internal and external meetings, including Organising Patient Participation Group (PPG), preparing agendas, presentations and generating minutes.
Assisting the Practice Manager in maintaining the practice online presence.
Assist in reviewing and updating of practice policies, procedures and other practice documents.
Inducting new staff.
Creating job adverts and publishing on NHS jobs, collating applicants and assisting in shortlisting and the interview process.
