Phlebotomist/HCA

Job summary

We are seeking a responsible and enthusiastic Phlebotomist / Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our organisation. This is a key role within the Nursing Team, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care across our practices. The post holder will work across multiple sites and must be adaptable, reliable, and patient-focused.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures in line with clinical guidelines

• Support the Nursing Team with HCA duties as required

• Work within busy phlebotomy clinics across all sites

• Undertake a small number of home visits when required

• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times

• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow infection control procedures

About us

Our organsational family consists of 30 plus clinical staff members who work closely alongside our team of 30 administrative staff. With our own PCN status we comprise of 5 surgeries; Buckshaw Village, Adlington Medical Centre, Eaves Lane, Croston Medical Centre and finally The village surgery at Lostock Hall. The patient list size is combined at just above 23,000 and still growing rapidly.
