Job summary

Vida Healthcare is currently looking for a reliable and hard working person to join our IT & BS Team. The role will be based from Gayton Road Health Centre, King’s Lynn however you will be expected to travel to the other 5 Vida Sites as required.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for offering an excellent standard of support to all clinical and practice staff, ensuring good quality service delivery, confidentiality and patient satisfaction a priority.

This is a fast paced and busy role, ideally suited to someone who likes to work methodically and has an eye for detail.

Job responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

To contribute to the effective delivery of healthcare systems for the care of patients by staff of Vida healthcare by ensuring that IT systems, and the associated information within is adequately supported.

The post-holder will work within a small team.

  • Assist in the assessment and analysis of data quality
  • Provide, or assist the provision of, information analysis and reporting
  • Collate and present data sets as required by clinical and management teams
  • Perform regular data reporting in line with business need and ensure that claims for payment can be fulfilled within the set claiming timeframes
  • Responsible for monitoring all IT Media and keeping it up to date.
  • Compile and publish Marketing media including Patient Newsletter.
  • Responsible for front line support of users at Fairstead, St Augustine’s, Hunstanton, Gayton Road, Carole Brown & The Hollies Surgeries.
  • Be able to act independently. If relevant to the task, access advice and support from appropriately qualified persons.
  • Assist in the monitoring, auditing and movement of IT equipment and information assets.
  • Follow and comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the IM&T strategy, Information Security Policy, and other security and confidentiality policies, reporting concerns as appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of users, and deal with callers in a calm and sympathetic manner, defusing anxieties where necessary.
  • Be able to provide guidance and training to system users
  • Fulfilling personal responsibilities for all matters relating to health and safety and risk management.
  • Partake in any training indicated by your line manager, as appropriate for personal and professional development.
  • Provide technical support to IT users, including practical training on devices and systems to enable effective use.
  • The post requires a combination of physical effort in the form of sitting, standing, walking, where there is a frequent requirement for moving heavy objects without aids, such as printers and PCs, in the confined spaces of the offices and clinical areas.
  • Other relevant duties as agreed with the line manager.
  • Perform full Audit Cycles and report to Information Governance Lead
