Job summary
The Law Medical Group Practice is a friendly, high achieving,
dynamic and innovative GP training practice with 18,000 patients, located in a Brent, NW London.
The practice is expanding and we are
looking for enthusiastic and resourceful GPs with strong clinical skills to
join the practice our team in 2023.
Main duties of the job
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the
entitled population
The
provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract
Generic
prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
Effective
management of long-term conditions
Processing
of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription
requests and other associated administrative tasks
On a
rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles
Maintain
accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and
guidance
Working
collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
Adhere
to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
Contribute
to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality
initiatives within the practice
Accept
delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF
Attend
and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
About us
TheLaw Medical Group Practice, is a long standing well established, respected and well regarded teaching and training practice in NW London, Brent. The practice operates from two sites, with the main site being in Willesden (NW10) and a branch site in Wembley (HA9).
The practice is a high achieving, dynamic, engaging, flexible and friendly employer and working environment. There is a large team of GP Partners, GP's, Nursing and Allied Health Staff as well as a large team of administrative and secretarial support staff.
The practice has a strong ethos on education and training.
The practice is an accredited training practice, accepting trainee doctors from the CMH and SMH VTS schemes as well as teaching medical students from Imperial and Kings.
