Job summary

The Church Street Surgery is seeking to recruit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for a full-time position, working 37 hours per week. Church Street Surgery is a friendly, established GP Surgery located in the centre of Kidderminster.

Part Time, Job Share or flexible working practices would be considered.

Church Street Surgery has an experienced team of five GP Partners and four Salaried GP's along with a dedicated visiting ANP and a team of other healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced nurse capable of operating within their professional boundaries to deliver comprehensive care for patients attending the practice. This includes tasks such as initial history taking, clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and care evaluation.

The role demands safe and informed clinical decision-making, along with expert care that encompasses both in-house consultations and home visits. The candidate should demonstrate advanced clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills suitable for general practice.

The candidate must be a registered independent prescriber with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Applicants who are Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) or Paramedics will also be considered, provided they have the First Contact Practitioner (FCP) qualification and are qualified prescribers.

Main duties of the job

They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures. As part of the Wyre Forest Health Partnership, the role will be based at Church Street Surgery, with the opportunity to work at other WFHP sites by agreement.
