Beeston Village
Surgery is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Practice Nurse to take on a
key clinical leadership role within our forward-thinking, community-based GP
practice.
Serving a patient
population of just under 8,000, you will play a vital role in delivering and
overseeing safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care.
Working
collaboratively with both clinical and administrative teams, you will provide
strong, visible leadership to the nursing team, ensuring the consistent
delivery of high-quality, patient-centred services. You will also contribute to
service development, clinical governance, and continuous quality improvement
across the practice
Main duties of the job
Deliver evidence-based nursing care for
patients with acute and chronic conditions
Lead and manage nurse-led clinics (including
Asthma and COPD)
Perform patient reviews in line with protocols
and best practice
Provide:
- Immunisations and vaccinations
- Cervical cytology
- HRT management
- Wound care
- Travel health advice
- Lifestyle support
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in
line with NMC standards
Supervise, support, and mentor students
Participate in audits, protocol development,
and service evaluation
Engage in ongoing professional development and
mandatory training

caring for a growing population of just under 8,000 patients.
Our team includes
a GP Partner, Salaried GPs, GP Registrars, ACPs, Nurses, and HCAs. We provide a
full range of primary care services including chronic disease management, minor
surgery, family planning, immunisations, and health screening.
