Job summary
We are looking for a friendly, patient focused and efficient person to join our Reception Team. This part time role will be worked over a 2 week shift rota 4 days a week with a mixture of am/pm shifts between the hours of 8am and 6.30pm. Minimum of 20hrs a week.
Duties including receiving, assisting and directing patient enquiries in
accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous,
efficient and effective way.
Provide general assistance to the practice
team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors,
either in person or via the telephone
Main duties of the job
The candidate should be well-organised, have an excellent telephone manner, ability to cope under pressure, good communication skills and computer literate.
It is essential that the candidate have a caring approach, is patient and a good listener.
Experience in a gp practice and use of Emis Web would be an advantage but training would be provided.
A team player and motivated.

We are a well organised friendly, adaptable GMS Practice. We
operate from a new purpose built surgery on the outskirts of Worcester. We have
just over 11,300 patients. We have a strong GP, ANP, PA and nurse team who are
supported by Management, Administration and Reception.

knowledge of telephone/bleep system, during and after hours.
Other Tasks
- Maintain a Clear desk policy and adhere to practice policies
- Ensure building
security have thorough knowledge of doors/windows/alarm.
- Any other tasks
allocated by managers
