Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our Practice management team.

To apply for this post, you will need to have experience in either a similar setting, or at a similar level.

This role will be based at our Skegness surgery and may also involve working from other locations locally as necessary.

This is a full-time role, but we are willing to consider part-time applicants with the appropriate skillset.

Main duties of the job

This role is wide ranging and in this role, your duties will include but will not be limited to:

Organisational responsibilities:

Maintaining and increasing sources of income analysing and reporting on threats and opportunities

Understanding of the financial implications of contract changes and legislation

Maximising income

Minimising expenditure

Reporting to the partners

Operational responsibilities:

Processing of income and expenditure information

Record-keeping

Cash-flow monitoring and forecasting

Management of bank accounts

Purchase and sales ledger processing

PAYE

Pensions management

Liaising with the practice accountant

Liaising with the practice bankers

About us

We are a large general practice with three surgeries serving over 20,000 patients in Skegness, Ingoldmells, Chapel St Leonards and surrounding villages on the East Coast of Lincolnshire.
