We are seeking a newly qualified General Practitioner to join our
healthcare team. The ideal candidate
will be an autonomous, conscientious, caring GP who has a comprehensive
understanding of various medical disciplines as well as a commitment to ongoing
life-long learning. The ideal candidate
will work well within a team. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide
range of health conditions, providing preventive care, and managing chronic
diseases in an idyllic rural setting.
This role is part of the PCN additional roles reimbursement scheme
(ARRS) and will have the potential to be extended beyond 31 March 2026 pending
NHS funding arrangements and guidance. To be eligible to apply for this role
you must have qualified within 2 years and must not have had substantive
employment within a GP practice.

4 to 5 Sessions per Week
Following the release of ARRS GP funding, Nidderdale
Group Practice is excited to offer an opportunity for a GP to join our
friendly and supportive team for 4 to 5 sessions per week.
We are particularly keen to hear from GPs who are within 2 years post-CCT and have not yet taken up a
substantive role in general practice. This position is ideal for those
looking to further develop their clinical skills in a collaborative and
patient-focused environment.
As part of our multidisciplinary team,
you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality care to a varied and
engaged patient population. The role includes all typical duties and
responsibilities expected of a GP working within a forward-thinking,
innovative primary care setting.

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a friendly rural 3 site practice in the stunning Nidderdale area of outstanding beauty on the outskirts of Harrogate. We are a 4 partner dispensing practice serving 11,000 patients. We have 7 salaried doctors as well as a fantastic multidisciplinary healthcare team including Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Social Prescriber, First Contact Mental Health Worker and Physiotherapists as well as a Health and Wellbeing Coach. Duties
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled
population
The provision of services commensurate with the primary care
contract
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
Effective management of long-term conditions
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including
referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative
tasks
On a rotational basis, undertake triage and duty doctor roles
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good
practice, policy and guidance
Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice
workload
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines
and the audit process
Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous
improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) of
QOF and additional services such as Enhanced Services and Dispensing Quality
Scheme
Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
Contribute effectively to the development and maintenance of the
practice including clinical governance and training
Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
Prepare and complete the revalidation process
Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing
professional development across the practice team
Support the training of GP trainees from all clinical disciplines
as well as providing support to the junior members of the team.
Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the
practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure
Review and always adhere to practice protocols and policies
Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff
regularly, always promoting a culture of continuous improvement
