Practice Nurse

Job summary

Come & work at Oakwood Surgery, we are currently looking to recruit a forward-thinking and committed Practice Nurse to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be part of multi-professional team looking after the care of our 11,000 patients.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be: caring and compassionate. Have excellent communication skills to meet the needs of patients. Able to communicate effectively as part of the clinical team.The successful applicant must be flexible to cover annual leave and at short notice sickness.

We are seeking a Practice Nurse to join our friendly team. Previous GP Practice experience preferred and EMIS web clinical system experience is preferable.

We are seeking a nurse who is available to do both mornings and afternoon/evening shifts.

Essential Qualifications:

Qualified Nurse with valid NMC Registration.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to :

Chronic Disease Management, Cervical Smears, Immunisations, Wound Care, Annual reviews in line with QOF, Clinical Coding, Emergency Drugs Check, Fridge Monitoring, Stock Check and others.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Dependent on experience
