Job summary
The primary duty of this role is to provide reception support during core hours, this includes answering incoming telephone calls, managing patient enquiries and ensuring effective communication within the practice the role also supports working within the prescription team
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities
- Answering calls in a timely manner
- Taking accurate messages for clinicians and other members of the team
- Receiving and processing requests for home visits, ensuring these are communicated appropriately
- Liaising with external professionals as required
- Using the clinical system (EMIS) to support daily tasks (full training will be provided
- Scanning and document management
- Supporting prescription clerk duties, including handling prescription queries, issuing repeat prescriptions and handling administrative tasks related to medication requests
This is a varied role requiring strong communiction, organisation and teamwork skills, experience benefivcial or full training provided to the right candidate
