Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and committed doctor to join our well-established practice in Great Ayton, North Yorkshire.

This post will be part-time working 6/8 sessions per week.

Main duties of the job

Providing a range of consultations to include face to face, telephone, video and Econsultations. You will provide patients with clinical assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and, where required, onward referral. Quality history and note taking is fundamental to your role as is safe, cost-effective prescribing.

About us

We are located in a lovely county village at the foot of the Cleveland Hills. The Practice has three GP Partners, two Practice Nurses, one Assistant Nurse, Clinical Pharmacists, Physicians Associate and a Mental Health Practitioner all supported by a friendly, hardworking team taking care of approximately 5600 patients.

The Practice is an active member of Hambleton North Primary Care Network compromising of 4 local Practices.

We are high QOF achievers in the years prior to the Pandemic and are a Systmone Practice.

Great Ayton Health Centre is a training practice and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care to patients, as well as providing supportive and friendly working environment for all our team.

  • Functional level of IT skills

  • Able to demonstrate safe practice

  • Current GMC Registration / Certificate
  • Inclusion on the Performers List
  • Vocational Training Certificate or Certificate of Equivalence
  • Medical Indemnity Membership
  • Full vaccination compliance including Hep B

  • Specific area of specialism / expertise e.g. A&E, minor surgery, paediatrics, mental health
  • MRCGP Graduate
  • Up-to-date mandatory training
  • Trainer / Mentor experience
