Job summary
This part time role has been set up to help us develop a practice fit
for the future. This role will help to ensure the smooth running of the
practice and provide efficient patient service.
The Operations Manager will work closely with
Practice Manager assisting her with many aspects of running the practice,
managing staff, providing administration support, working closely within the
existing teams, dealing with problems as they arise and project managing.
Patient healthcare needs are at the forefront of our
practice day to day operations, you should be familiar with QOF achievement and
the NHS healthcare setting. You will
assist in the planning of clinics to ensure we have a successful patient recall
system.
Main duties of the job
Management of the teams and individuals will be required
particularly in the Practice Manager absence along with crisis management of
issues such as disaster management, loss of services such as IT Equipment,
telephones, etc.
The role will involve all aspects of the practice including
premises, IT support, HR, communication, CQC preparation, practice
administration and interaction with patients.
You will assist the Practice Manager with the day to day running of the practice, this may include preparing rotas, project management, assisting patients with queries, data entry, meeting minutes adn organsation for example and many other duties.

Surgery is a well organised, high achieving 2 Partner practice with 6,000
patients providing dedicated caring clinical services. The practice achieved a
GOOD CQC rating. We have a friendly happy team working at the surgery.
We are situated
in a pleasant location within easy access of the M4/ M40 in Cox Green,
Maidenhead.
Hours are
negotiable, 16 -25 hours considered, working 2 to 4 days. Pay will be
considered dependent on experience.

adequate cover at all times.
11. Ensure
the work environment is kept clean, tidy and well organised, paying due
attention to health and safety.
12. Ensure
the practice is compliant with any NHS, Information governance, CQC, or health
related requirements.
13. Work
