Qualified Dispenser or Trainee Dispenser

Job summary

Litchdon Medical Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated qualified or trainee dispenser to join the dispensary team in our busy GP surgery.

This role is to dispense and deal with patients queries and give support to the clinical team regarding medication.

You will be need to have customer service experience and have good communication skills as you will be expected to deal patients, staff members and outside organisations e.g. other pharmacies.You will need to be flexible to cover the varied aspects of the role and cover colleagues as required.

Working pattern of 20 hours working over 3 days.

Salary trainee between £8.91, increasing to £9.00 after probation period and until training is completed. Max £10.00 after gaining experience and skills.

Qualified dispenser £9.46 to a maximum of £10.00 per hour.

Closing date 16th August with interviews to take place on the 20th August 2021. If you have not heard back before 18th June you have not be successful on this occasion.

Main duties of the job

You will need to have an understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and telephone skills will be needed and computer literacy skills.
