Job summary

We are looking for an Administration Officer to undertake a new and exciting role at Partington Central Surgery. Working closely with the Practice Manager and GPs, you will oversee the operational management of the Practice and day-to-day administrative duties, along with helping the team (clinical and non-clinical staff) to deliver excellent patient facing service and standards.

Main duties of the job

As Administration Officer, you should be able to work autonomously. You will be innovative in nature, and will implement solutions to problems that arise as part of the day-to-day running of the practice. You will be working alongside the Practice Manager and other staff to develop and implement processes to ensure we continue to provide high quality care which is efficient and effective to all our patients.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person with experience of managing a team. You will be used to working in a fast-paced and changing environment. Experience of working in healthcare is essential.

About us

Partington Central Surgery is a single handed practice with two GPs, Health Care Assistant, Practice Nurse with a view to incorporate an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Pharmacist into the clinical/clinical support team. We have 3 receptionists with a view to recruit 2 part time apprentices to assist in the day to day duties of the reception staff. We have a population list of around 4000.

  • Educated to degree level or evidence of working to similar level
