Job summary
We are looking to recruit a new salaried GP for 4 sessions per week covering Tuesdays and Fridays.The practice has a list size of just over 6000 patients. The practice team consists of skilled, multi-disciplinary staff with 3 GP Partners, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 Health Care Assistant and 2 GP Assistants. In addition we have a Practice Manager and a Reception/Administrative team who provide excellent support to the clinicians.
We are part of the Barrow Together PCN, made up of 8 local GP Practices and through this we also have a specialist home visiting team, clinical pharmacists, social prescribers and mental health practitioners who support our practice.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a salaried GP who can work with us to ensure that we continue to progress, develop and work innovatively within our diverse community. The successful candidate will be working as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population as a whole, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. The post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards of good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice.
