Wembley Park Medical Centre, a large,
progressive, and high-achieving Training Practicein Northwest
London, is expanding to serve a rapidly growing local population. Due to this
growth, we are looking for dedicated General Practitioners to join our supportive
team.
We are actively seeking applicants for a Substantive
Salaried Post, but are also happy to discuss Fixed-Term Maternity Locumcover
or Ad-hoc Locumarrangements, including roles within our Extended
Access sessions. We are committed to finding a role that fits your needs.
Main duties of the job
- Protected Clinical Time:Sustainable session structure with only 14 clinical slotsin a 4-hour clinic. Time built-in to focus on quality patient care.
- Minimal Tasks:High-volume correspondence managed by accredited AI softwareand a Workflow Team. You'll receive a maximum of 2-3 tasks dailyescalated from letters.
- Minimal Labs:You only action a few labs daily; the vast majority are managed centrally by the workflow team.
- Full Admin Support:Dedicated administrative support for processing all referrals.
- No Routine Scripts: No routine prescription workloadmanaged by our dedicated Pharmacist Team.
- Minimal Home Visits: Minimal home visitsrequired, ensured through fair and equitable allocation of all work across the team.

Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations.

Assess, diagnose, and manage a range of acute and chronic health conditions.

Prescribe medicines and interpret diagnostic tests in line with clinical guidelines.

Undertake home visits when appropriate.

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, and healthcare assistants.

Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Contribute to the achievement of QOF, Enhanced Services, and other performance targets.

Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EMIS .
