Job summary

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time, Bank delivery driver, delivering medication to patients unable to collect in person, to villages within catchment area of the surgery.

You must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to plan your daily route, working under your own initiative.

Working for Mowbray House Surgery, we are a large, progressive Medical Practice based in Northallerton, with a full time branch in Hutton Rudby. Across the 2 sites we have around 20,000 patients.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to delivery medication to patients homes between Tuesday to Friday on an ad-hoc basis, covering holiday and absences where necessary.

You will be responsible for ensuring the company vehicle used is refuelled and to check the vehicle before going out and after return, keeping it clean inside and out and reporting any faults/damage.

  • Hold a valid full UK driving license.
  • Able to navigate around an area using sat nav or maps.
  • Able to plan and keep to a schedule.
  • Physically fit for getting in and out of vehicles and loading and unloading.
  • Willing to work unsupervised.
  • Excellent communication skills.
