Job summary

We are looking for a full time or part time GP for our mid sized practice in North Romford. We are a highly regarded practice with an excellent team...2 Experienced Nurses, admin staff and Practice Manager.

We are a GMS practice with a list size of just over 7000 and using EMISweb.

We are consistently QOF high achievers.

We are happy to arrange informal discussions or visits.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, EConsults, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner.

All candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and be on the Primary Medical Services Performer List.

Essential

  • A degree in medicine recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC) Compassion, resourcefulness, stamina, motivation, and perseverance.
  • The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent time management skills to balance clinical and administrative work.
  • Good IT skills and NHS systems knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with various demands.
  • A flexible approach to work and ability to manage change.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills for dealing with patients and colleagues

Desirable

  • Sound knowledge of the principles and values that support good medical practice
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent and highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, in a manner which is clear and fluent
  • Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient focused services
