Job summary
We are looking for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly, highly motivated team based in Wallasey.
As part of the multi-disciplinary team the post holder will be providing high quality care to our practice population of 5860 patients. They will be focusing on monitoring long-term conditions, health prevention and screening activities. They will work collaboratively with our inclusive and supportive practice team.
Main duties of the job
Providing all aspects of general practice nursing including chronic disease management, immunisations and vaccinations, contraceptive services, wound care and routine surveillance and screening.
About us
We are a 4 partner, 1 salaried GP training practice with a lead practice nurse, 2 HCAs and managerial and administrative staff. In addition we have an in house counsellor and PCN pharmacists, podiatrists, physios, paramedics, health coaches and social prescribers.
