GP Fellowship (Hounslow)

Job summary

The SPIN New to Practice fellowships are a 2-year programme of support available to all newly qualified GPs (within 12 months of qualification).

Fellows can partake in a range of portfolio options for 1-2 sessions that supports clinical leadership, professional development and education.SPIN GPs will enter a contract as a salaried GP in the HIYOS team. They will work a total of 6 sessions which consist of 4 clinical sessions and 2 sessions a week leading and supporting innovation in the practice.

As part of the fellowship, fellows will have monthly facilitated peer sessions where they can network with other GP fellows in North West London.

Fellows will also be matched with a local GP mentor who will support the GP with their personal and professional development.

Main duties of the job

GP must hold MRCGP certification and have received their CCT within the last 12 months.

GP fellow should commit to working a minimum of 6 sessions (4 clinical sessions and 2 innovation session) within the practice.
