Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Quality & Outcomes Framework (QOF) Administrator to support our General Practice team. This non-clinical role is critical to ensuring the practice meets its QOF targets by maintaining accurate records, analysing data, contacting patients and liaising with healthcare professionals. You will contribute to improving patient care and practice efficiency by supporting the delivery of high-quality administrative services.
Main duties of the job
Maintain and update patient records to ensure accuracy for QOF reporting.Monitor and track QOF performance indicators and ensure compliance with national standards.Identify areas for improvement based on QOF data and share findings with the practice team.Ensure all QOF-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and securely stored.Liaise with GPs, nurses, and other staff to ensure QOF requirements are understood and addressed.Act as the point of contact for external audits or inspections related to QOF.Stay updated with any changes to QOF criteria and ensure the practice adapts to new guidelines.Manage patient correspondence related to QOF (letter, SMS, emails and telephone).

Experience
Essential
- a. Previous administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- b. Strong understanding of the Quality & Outcomes Framework (training can be provided if necessary).
- c. Proficiency in using EMIS Web or similar
- d. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- e. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- f. Ability to analyse data and generate meaningful insights.
- g. Knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR.
Desirable
- a. Experience in working with QOF or other NHS frameworks.
- b. Familiarity with medical terminology.
- c. Experience in quality improvement initiatives or audit processes.
