An exciting opportunity has arisen for a appointments administrator at Albany House Medical Centre.
We are looking for a flexible and hardworking individual with good organisational and communication skills. You will take pride in your working ethic and be willing to go that extra mile to help our patients.
Previous knowledge or experience of working in a medicine/GP Practice environment is preferable but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday 13:00 - 18:30 and Tuesday and Thursday 08:30 - 13:00, totalling 25.5 hours a week
The successful candidate will be an essential part of a team that prides itself on optimum patient experience within Albany House Medical Centre.
You will also be required to work a Saturday morning (8am-12pm) on a Rota basis which is roughly 1 Saturday in 10.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities
To work in a team under the guidance of the Operations Manager to carry out the following:
- Receiving patients, consulting with members of practice team
- Processing telephone requests for appointments, and completing Anima Health triage application diligently for a clinician to adequately review and navigate to the most appropriate healthcare service/professional.
- Monitoring Anima Health and ensuring all tasks and actions are completed adequately and in a timely manner
- Navigate personal telephoneinquiries to the relevant internal/external services
- Taking messages and passing on information to the appropriate team/professional
- Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team member and associated healthcare agencies and providers
- Ensure that system is operational at the beginning of each day
- Chaperoning
- Other Misc Admin duties.
