Job summary

An opportunity to join our highly efficient, friendly, dynamic and forward-thinking Contracts Team.

We are looking for a Contracts Co-ordinator who will be responsible for delegated tasks and activity from the Head of Contracts relating to managing, overseeing and auditing all of contracts of the GP practices within the H&F partnership to optimise income capture against clinical activity within the terms of all contracts.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will assist in ensuring there are robust systems and processes in place so that contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other performance measures are effectively monitored and delivered. The Contracts Co-ordinator will assist in ensuring the 5 practices within the H&F Partnership meet all the requirements of contracts commissioned. The post holder will play a crucial role in supporting and ensuring that Practices have an understanding of the contract requirements and indicators, are informed about performance and milestones on a regular basis. You will run campaigns for specific patient cohorts, run reports and searches on SystmOne.

Such other appropriate duties as required from Contracts Manager and the Partnership from time to time

Job responsibilities

Keyresponsibilities:

  • Support, assist and train staff to improve clinical coding and data capture
  • Understand specific contracts so that they can be administered and monitored properly, including running reports and dashboards from SystmOne
  • Audit and review data recording accuracy on a sample basis to ensure that clinical activity is accurately reflected in all claims for income. Including updating patient records with Read codes and other specific entries relating to income recognition
  • Manage discrete projects relating to contract delivery against defined timescales and deliverables
  • Manage call/recall for specific patient cohorts, identifying cohort correctly, data quality checks, and arranging and running the campaigns
  • Liaise with operational staff and partners at all sites to highlight contract priorities, activity budgets, current performance, and to ensure key staff and partners understand key contract lines and associated work requirements, targets and timescales
  • Work with staff at all sites to deliver contract income, being clear what is your responsibility to complete and what is responsibility for specific surgery staff
  • Manage and complete specific reporting activity tasks relating to contract requirements
  • To assist the Head of Contracts with any work delegated

  • Able to work effectively with minimum supervision and under pressure at times
  • Ability to work in a Team and collaborate effectively.
