Job description

Job responsibilities

Role summary: The post-holder will provide general medical services managing a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients

You will undertake all normal duties and responsibilities, including:

  • Face to face and telephone consultations
  • E-consultations
  • On the day urgent patient appointments
  • Lab results
  • Prescriptions
  • Home visits
  • Triaging
  • Medical Reports
  • Associated administration and correspondence

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

  • Suitable for a newly qualified GP

Desirable

  • Any specialist area
  • Knowledge of EMIS clinical system

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified GP
  • Registered on the National Performers List
