Job summary

The CLPCN HR & Finance assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Finance & HR Officer CLPCN. The post holder will administrate Finance and HR systems and provide reception cover if needed.

Main duties of the job

Recruitment

Prepare Role Specifications and Job Descriptions as a resource for recruitment

Advertise posts on NHS Jobs and various other platforms

Assist with administration of applications and interviews

Prepare and circulate interview documents and maintain accurate and up to date recruitment files.

Assist with planning interview arrangements

Provide administrative support for recruitment and onboarding of new staff to the PCN

Assist with preparation of induction plans for new staff and ensure they have required access to information systems and equipment as required

Ongoing Employment

Update HR management systems

Record sickness and other absences of staff and provide regular reports

Provide administrative support for HR meetings when required.

Liaise with Line Managers for timely collation of records / meeting notes

Follow internal systems for ensuring pay amendments relating to sickness or other unpaid absences are actioned.

Follow internal systems to monitor mandatory training

Maintain HR personnel files including supervision, review and annual appraisal forms.

Maintain Pension records

Resource Management

Assist with administration of stock ordering and receipt of goods

Update records of clinical stock ordered and received.

Match non clinical invoices to delivery notes

Raise invoices for services provided as required

Assist with Petty Cash record keeping

General Finance

Assist with posting of invoices on accounting software
