Job summary
Bay Medical Group is recruiting for an Administrator to join
our small, friendly HR team supporting the delivery of a full range of HR
functions in the Practice.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will provide administrative support and be
a first line of communication with our BMG people regarding HR queries. You will: use your IT knowledge to support
the running of our HR database through accurately inputting data in a timely
fashion; use your organisational skills to prioritise your workload; use your
excellent written and communication skills to produce letters and respond to verbal
and written queries.

This is a part time role, working 25 hours per week. The
working pattern for the role will be Monday to Friday. The successful candidate
will be based at our Westgate Site in Morecambe.

- Provide support for the day to day management of the HR function
- Act as first point of contact in responding to HR and education queries, directing staff to Practice policies and procedures
- Assist with the administration processes of the employee life-cycle (e.g. recruitment, on-boarding, leavers)
- Data input and administrative duties in the HR digital system
- Processing standard letters e.g. offer letters, reference requests
- Professional registration checks
- Organise and schedule internal education events
- Arrange meetings and take notes
- Filing (paper and digital)
- Assist with HR reporting e.g. flu vaccine uptake
- Liaise with Finance department to ensure payroll runs smoothly and accurately reflects attendance records
- Support data collection and analysis
- Liaise with external agencies e.g. training providers as required
- Support health and wellbeing initiatives

- Maintain stock control, ordering stationery and supplies for the department
