Job summary
To provide a secretarial service to the GPs / clinical staff / Practice Manager involving word processing and audio typing skills with general clerical work.
Good communicator. Practical and objective.
Excellent / accurate audio and copy typing skills.
Works effectively as a team member or independently
Attention to detail and maintenance of the highest professional standards.
Main duties of the job
To set up e-referrals and monitor the e-referral system and act accordingly
To input and read code referral data into Emis web clinical system
To retrieve medical records and assist in the completion of medical/insurance reports through the use iGPR
Dealing with Subject Access Requests
Audio typing skills
Medical reports
Insurance reports
Patient letters
About us
Due to our expanding team, we have a vacancy for a Medical Secretary/Administrator. This is a part-time post between 16-25 hours per week (days and hours to be confirmed). Full details are attached in the Job Description and person specification.
