A NEW opportunity has arisen at our surgery in Watford, for
a permanent 5-6 session salaried GP (can be part ARRS funded). Session/days
negotiable.
Salary negotiable and dependent on experience.
Specialist interests would be welcomed, potentially elderly care, safeguarding, teaching & training.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide
range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards
of care for all registered patients. Share to support a small 22 bed care home, PA reviews, and encouraged to lead in specialist interest.
About us
Our surgery is a town centre practice looking after 9000
patients. We have excellent commuter road links via the M25 and M1, aswell as overground and underground train/tube stations. Cassiobury Park, Outstanding Primary and Secondary Schools, Atria Shopping Centre also make Watford attractive to work and live in.
Our multi-disciplinary team is made up of GPs, Physician Associates, First Contact Physios, Social Prescribers, Nursing team and an excellent admin/reception support. Our clinical system is EMIS, workflow is supported by Care-Coordinators, and referrals by our Referrals Team. On site parking for staff and patients is available. We are also on the registered
list of sponsors and are able to issue work permits.
