Practice Nurse

Job summary

We are looking for a practice nurse/nurses to join our team in the lovely picturesque Tideswell. There may be occasions where the role would be at our Bakewell site.

You will benefit from working in a lovely friendly team, with good rates of pay, 6 weeks holiday + bank holidays

We are a training practice and would support you if you wished to add to your skills.

If you are competent in some areas of practice nursing, but need training in others, that can be accomodated.

We would particularly welcome people with interest and knowledge of respiratory disease and diabetes.

We also have training available for ARTP for spirometry

Main duties of the job

We undertake all aspects of practice nursing. We have a wide range of chronic disease patients, their reviews are supported by our lovely HCA and trainee nurse associate teams. We are also soon to recruit a GP Assistant that will help with the recall process for reviews.

Supporting the HCAs in their development, you will be part of shaping the future of the healthcare delivered.

About us

We are a 3 partner GP Practice, with 2 sites (Bakewell and Tideswell). We have a Partnership Business Manager, Administration Managers, Dispensary Manager, GPs, Nurses, HCA's, Trainee Nurse Associates all supported by a team of admin and dispensary staff.

We have a dispensary at both sites.

We have a home visiting service, we also have additional roles supported by our primary care network.
