PCN Pharmacy Technician

The closing date is 26 April 2026

Job summary

Rockingham Forest Primary Care Network is continuing to develop and strengthen its PCN pharmacy team and is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join us.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across GP practices within the PCN and play a key role in improving medicines optimisation and patient safety in primary care.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing medicines reconciliation from discharge summaries and clinical correspondence
  • Supporting medication reviews by ensuring records are accurate, complete, and appropriately coded
  • Managing and resolving medicationrelated queries in line with agreed protocols
  • Supporting repeat prescribing processes and medicines safety systems
  • Ensuring appropriate monitoring is in place for prescribed medicines
  • Maintaining effective systems and procedures to support safe, efficient medicines management
