Job summary
Practice Administrator/Receptionist required to work in a well organised GP Practice. Full or part time hrs considered to right candiate.
Main duties of the job
Administrator/Receptionist required to join our team. Full time or Part time hrs can be considered. Good communication skills and adherence to strict confidentiality is necessary. Knowledge of computing/keyboard skills desirable but training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Answering the Telephones, and dealing with patients face to face at the Desk. Booking appointments and dealing with general enquires.

- Contacting other providers (when directed)
Reception Duties
- Registering New Patients
- tasks
- Making appointments
- Handing out prescriptions
- Creating blood labels
- Ensure outstanding queries are explained and handed over to next shift, as necessary.
- Collect patients from patients for Non-NHS services.
- Deal with general enquires
General
- Input and extract information from practice computer system.
- scanning on patients letters.
- Observes health and safety guidelines at all times
- General housekeeping.
