Job summary

Brentfield Medical Centre is a busy practice in North West London with just over 9,000 patients.

We are recruiting and inviting applicants who want to work full-time Monday to Friday from 7.45 am to 4.15 pm (with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break). We are also willing to consider applicants who wish to work part time Monday - Friday with a 7.45 am start.

Our Medical Receptionists will often be the first point of contact for most patients.

You will play a key role in ensuring we deliver high standards of customer service to patients and visitors to the Practice, contributing to the effective delivery of care within the local area.

Main duties of the job

Your role will mainly be a combination of either face to face or telephone contact with patients using EMIS software for which full training will be given.

There will also be administrative duties which will support in the care of our patients.

About us

The Practice has 2 Clinical and 1 non-clinical Partners, 4 salaried GPs, 1 practice Nurse supported by Health Care Assistants (HCAs).

We are a very supportive practice where staff development is encouraged - our Reception Team leader, HCA and 2 Assistant Practice Managers joined as Receptionists.

Team building is encouraged and we have all staff Friday meetings. We also have an awayday each year where everyone gets together with the emphasis on fun to help the Practice with its business planning.
