Job summary

Southview Medical Practice, a well-established, resilient and high achieving practice are seeking an enthusiastic and committed GP to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team as a salaried with a view to partnership due to retirement.

Main duties of the job

Full or Part-time considered

An interest in IT /AI technologies desirable.

15 minute face to face appointments

A mixture of 10/15 minute telephone appointments

Total Triage System with effective care navigation

EMIS/EMIS-X practice also using AccuRx, TeamNet and Docman for workflow optimisation reducing admin for GPs

Strong training ethos: GP trainees, FY2s, medical students from St Georges, student nurses.

Diverse clinical team including GPs, salaried GPs, GP Retainer, Junior Doctors, Clinical Pharmacist, Experienced ANPs, Nurses, Nursing Associate, HCAs, Clinical Triage Administrators

Home visiting service managed by our local paramedic service requiring limited GP cover.

We provide a wide range of services with high standards and achievements in patient care, QOF and enhanced services

Very competitive salary, happy to negotiate depending on experience

Annual Leave 6 weeks and 1 week study leave per year (both pro-rata)

Allocated coffee breaks are an important part of our culture with a designated morning huddle time

Weekly clinical meetings with a specific monthly clinical meeting for training/updates/practice half days for training

Actively engaged with our local PCN and Federation (a founding practice of this)

Enhanced hours service currently provided by our local Federation with opportunity to engage with these shifts if you wish.

Prime location: - We are based in a diverse commuter town in the heart of Surrey, 25 minutes from London by train and close to many picturesque villages in Surrey and the Surrey Hills as well as close to the South coast. We have excellent local facilities for those with families of all ages. We are also close to the new medical school based at the University of Surrey.
