Job summary
Stockbridge Village Health centre are looking for an experienced registered practice nurse to join its nursing team. We are a well established practice who have a young team of partners that are forward thinking and want to take the practice into an exciting new era post pandemic. Experience in Primary Care is Essential.
Main duties of the job
The Post holder is responsible for the delivery of practice nursing services care to the practice population. Supported by the lead nurse practitioner, they will deliver care within boundaries of their scope of practice, focusing upon supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring and management of long-term conditions, health prevention and screening activities that may include cervical screening, baby immunisations and travel health. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.

Stockbridge Village Health Centre is a long serving practice that is in the heart of the community. We have varied demographics which make life interesting, no two days are the same!
We have good staff retention, most of the GPs who are now employed at Stockbridge as salaried GPs or partners have trained here as registrars. We currently have three partners and three salaried GPs and are currently recruiting to increase our GP numbers.
We have a "patient first" ethos, but also like to let our hair down social occasions allowing!
