Salaried GP

Job summary

Salary: just under £10,000 per session with paid CPD time, MDU membership included and annual DDRB consideration.

4-8 sessions with days negotiable.

BMA model based contract

Regular time protected for GP meeting and GSF/MDT meetings

Accountant support

Opportunities to be included in teaching rota and become a GP trainer

Educational lunches

Fellowship applications considered.

Main duties of the job

14 appointments per session (mixture of telephone and F2F)

on call duties include dealing with a small number of electronic consults, urgent tasks, and completing Docman. This is protected time.

Home visits and routine prescriptions.

About us

Stockbridge Village Health Centre is a friendly Knowsley based training practice looking for a part time salaried GP to join our team.

We are 20mins from Liverpool city centre with good motorway links; some of our staff commute from Warrington, Wirral and Manchester.

Our team consists of 4 partners supported by 2 salaried GPs, 2 GP trainees, 2 nurses, a prescribing pharmacist and PCN staff.

We are very patient centred and have a good relationship with the patients many of whom we have known for generations.

We all have a good sense of humour!
